Code2Apps built the Consulta Placa app as an Ad Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Code2Apps at no cost and is intended for use as is.

We also do not represent any governmental entity! The data in this app are public data obtained from public queries directly from the DETRAN websites and stored in our own database. Our database is updated periodically, providing the date of the last update with each license plate query.

1. Decree No. 8.777/2016 - Open Data Policy of the Federal Executive Branch: This decree establishes the Open Data Policy of the Brazilian government, promoting the free use of public data and encouraging the creation of tools that increase citizens’ access to government information. According to the decree, data and information about government programs can be used independently by society, as long as transparency is ensured (Decree No. 8.777/2016).

Decree No. 9.903/2019, Article 4 - Free Use of Public Databases: This article states that databases and information that make up the federal government’s active transparency policy are freely available for public use and may be used for informational and educational purposes, without restrictions. Thus, it ensures that data and information about “Abono Salarial” can be accessed and presented informatively by third parties, such as in independent apps (Decree No. 9.903/2019, Article 4).

Copyright Law (Law No. 9.610/1998): The Copyright Law, in Article 7, Clause XIII, allows the public use of data and information compilations owned by the Federal Government, including data available on official government portals.
